How would i get noticed by a Major League Baseball Scout?

I am a senior in High School and play AAA baseball with my region I live in a southeastern town in Ontario Canada and i would love to play major league baseball as a Career in my future.But all the major league players from Canada are from BC or the east coast . So how can i get possibly scouted my a major league team or even a college team when no scouts are around here?

Just because you don’t "see" scouts doesn’t mean there aren’t scouts around. Trust me, if you have the skills, they know about you. For colleges, you need to market yourself…make a DVD of your play and get help from your high school coach; he should have connections in the college ranks.

MILWAUKEE — Before Wednesday’s game, manager Lou Piniella met with a few players in his office to express a sense of urgency. They responded.

Derrek Lee belted his 300th career homer and Marlon Byrd and Geovany Soto each hit a pair of home runs, both driving in three apiece, to power Carlos Zambrano and the Cubs to a 9-4 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.

“We swung the bats — Marlon got us going,” Lee said. “He’s been great all year. We swung the bats, and it makes the game easier when you put up eight runs like that. The pitcher can relax, throw strikes and it makes it easier on everyone.”

Did Piniella’s pregame pep talk make a difference?

“You never know,” Lee said. “Like I said, Marlon’s been swinging great all year. He got us going with that two-run homer [in the first]. Who knows if it worked or not?”

Can females play in major league baseball?

I have always seen that its always men that are playing on the T.V. MLB does not stand for men’s league baseball, its major league. Is it that girls aren’t ALLOWED to play? I am not talking about SOFTBALL. Its baseball. I just wanted to know if there was a rule against it.

There aren’t any rules that prohibit participation by women. The only thing preventing women from playing in MLB is ability. To this point, no woman has shown the ability to play baseball at the MLB level.

Babe Didrikson, arguably the greatest female athlete in US history was not a Major Leaguer.
