Meet Kevin Goldstein and Christina Kahrl, co-authors of Baseball Prospectus: The Essential Guide to the 2008 Baseball Season, the bestselling guide to Major League Baseball returns, bringing together the top young baseball writers and analysts in the business to provide the definitive look at the season to come – Books Inc.
Kevin Goldstein is an author of Baseball Prospectus. Since 2006 has written multiple-times-per week “Future Shock” columns on high school, college, and minor league player prospects, with an emphasis on scouting rather than sabermetrics.
He also covers Winter League baseball, Spring training, the major league baseball draft, scouting, personnel development, and the baseball player marketplace. Before joining BP, Goldstein was a writer for Baseball America.
Christina Kahrl is one of the co-founders of Baseball Prospectus. She is currently the managing editor of the think tank’s website, BaseballProspectus.com, as well as their annual publication. She has co-edited several of the Baseball Prospectus annual books of forecasts and analysis and has been involved in the writing of every edition since the first in 1996.
