Nes | I Own Baseball

Heres a long vid of me editing a non-ultra team. I’m going to make a league with five other ultra teams and my non-ultra team. I forgot to turn the music on when recording this vid. So I have My Dying Bride’s My Hope The Destroyer and NESkimos Crash Man Theme. If you don’t like the music, turn the the volume down or click on the X.

NES Baseball Stars – Ladies Team (What is a wren?)

While baseball Stars for the NES is best known for allowing players to build up their teams by winning games and earning money, its true value to society is teaching us “What is a wren?” and “When isn’t it?”

At the Make Team screen, press Down, Right, Left, Down, Down, Right, Up, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up. The cursor will end up on Veterans. Press A. The game will ask “What is a wren?” Change the letters to say “A bird.” (include the period.) Choose END and press A. The game will ask “When isn’t it?” Change the letters to say “When it is.” (include the period.) THIS VIDEO GETS THIS PART WRONG, sadly. The “it is.” part should be on the second line. Otherwise, the powerup part won’t work. Refer to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRWbuq0rpvM to see this correctly.

A similar trick to create a male, but stronger than usual team, is to press Down, Right, Left, Down, Down, Right, Up and select Balanced Team. This version only asks “When isn’t it?”

Mas & Vic – Bases Loaded (NES)

baseball season is here and Mas & Vic look at the popular title Bases Loaded. The game is one of the better Baseball games of its time but there are also some terrible parts within this game.

Mas scores the baseball classic at a 6.4 while Vic gives it a 4.3.

Classic Game Room HD – Wii SPORTS BASEBALL review

Classic Game Room HD reviews Wii SPORTS BASEBALL for the Nintendo Wii video game console. This game comes with the Wii Sports disc and allows the user to “play” baseball with the Wii remote. Whatever, we’d rather play Atari baseball. This game isn’t even in the same league as Wii Bowling or Golf (pun intended!) Classic Game Room reviews Wii games and this Wii review shows gameplay from the Wii console and how your little Mii hits the ball at the Fisher Price people who try and catch it. Although we enjoy the games where the Wii controller is used to great effect this really isn’t one of them. On the other hand, CGR doesn’t know anything baseball. CGR does’t know anything about Golf either but Nintendo has done a great job with their golf game. I’m sure there are lots of people out there who love Wii Baseball… and other Mario baseball games. So in that respect maybe this game is for you. We’d rather be bowling. Classic Game Room is the place for Wii video game reviews and the ultimate Wii review channel. Wee.
