Baseball Stars: Powered-Up Men’s Team, Powered-Up Women’s Team, and Normal Women’s Team
Baseball Stars is one of the few co-ed baseball games I’ve ever seen. You can hire women, and make teams that are only women, and they play just as well as the men (and, given how badly some of the game’s players suck, sometimes better).
Here, I show how to make a powered-up men’s team, a powered-up women’s team, and a regular women’s team.

NES Baseball Stars – Ladies Team (What is a wren?)
While baseball Stars for the NES is best known for allowing players to build up their teams by winning games and earning money, its true value to society is teaching us “What is a wren?” and “When isn’t it?”
At the Make Team screen, press Down, Right, Left, Down, Down, Right, Up, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up. The cursor will end up on Veterans. Press A. The game will ask “What is a wren?” Change the letters to say “A bird.” (include the period.) Choose END and press A. The game will ask “When isn’t it?” Change the letters to say “When it is.” (include the period.) THIS VIDEO GETS THIS PART WRONG, sadly. The “it is.” part should be on the second line. Otherwise, the powerup part won’t work. Refer to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRWbuq0rpvM to see this correctly.
A similar trick to create a male, but stronger than usual team, is to press Down, Right, Left, Down, Down, Right, Up and select Balanced Team. This version only asks “When isn’t it?”
